Tina Munim was born on 11th February 1957 in Mumbai, India. She is a Gujarati and her lineage can be traced back to royal merchants of the Burmese rulers.
She married Dhirubhai Ambani’s younger son Anil Ambani in 1991 and the couple have two sons, Anmol and Anshul.
Currently living in Britain, this actress who flirted prettily with the cameras in the 80s, moved to California to study and is now involved with causes that help empower senior citizens and also runs a magazine called Harmony. She promotes artists through an annual show called The Harmony Show.

Tina Munim’s first step towards fame was on the runway at the International Teen Princess contest. She won the Miss Photogenic and Miss Bikini titles.
She aspired to study fashion and become a couturier in Paris but Dev Anand had other plans for her when he signed her up for Des Pardes (1978). She soon caught the attention of other film makers and worked with Amol Palekar and Asrani in the comedy Baton Baton Mein (1979) and was the young girl in love with Monty in Karz (1980).
Katilon Ke Kaatil (1981) was another hit in her kitty followed by Souten (1983). A string of movies later, she walked away from movies but continues to stay in the news.
