Prachi Desai Biography
Prachi Desai aka ghar ghar ki Bani, was born in Gujarat. Acting is a passion for her. She was studying in Pune when her photographs were sent to Balaji Telefilms. She got a break in Ekta Kapoor�s serial �Kasamh Se�. At that time she was only 17.Prachi was so deep into the skin of Bani that she turned out to be a household name. She was cast opposite Ram Kapoor, playing the role of a girl who is married to an older man.
Later, Indian Television witnessed Prachi participating in the reality show �Jhalak Dikhla Ja�. She won that contest and proved her mettle as a dancer. She is a blue-eyed girl of Ekta Kapoor, whom she considers as her mentor. Her other shows was �Kasauti Zindagi Kay�.
Prachi�s Bollywood safar started with the movie �Rock On�, where she shared screen space with Farhan Akhtar. Here she played the role of a wife who tries to make her husband happy, with utter ease.
